I'm interested to learn how other teams of designers and developers are using UXpin in their workflows and collaboration. Are your developers actually using the Specs tools? If not, why not? Are your prototypes getting implemented as is? How complex are the deliverables your handing off?
Where am I?
In UXPin you can ask and answer questions and share your experience with others!
We still rely on in-person kick off meetings or video walkthroughs for the handoff of a project, though spec mode and leaving thorough documentation notes is still a big help too, when a Developer pays attention to them.
There are some things that a prototype simply cannot communicate, but in all honestly we're still trying to work out the most effective way to deliver a project too so I'd be keen to hear what others are doing. I'm in a design team of 4 with about 12 or so developers, a third of which specialise in front end.
I will say it all depends on the project - whether is adding new features or new project from scratch.
If is an existing product, the developers would already have the working assets and just need working prototypes and meeting sessions where feedback are given to design team to review.
