It has been a long season without new feature updates and UXPin starting to feel dated for me. At the same time, other design app such as Figma is innovate with features such as advance auto layout and variants states. There are react-based design tools that output React codes and prototyping toolkit for Tailwind CSS.
Everyone is so quiet here...and just found out that UXPin Merge is only available in Enterprise plan
For me, there are no better tools. No figma feature can make me switch, unless they all the sudden catch up to UXPin's prototyping capabilities. When I can create a SPA prototype with a single artboard in figma, maybe I'll open it again. But, as far as I know, I can't even create a dropdown menu in figma without a new artboard.
(Can you tell I don't like figma? LOL)
Bro, I'm vibing with you right now! Ditto!!!!
Perhaps can check out JustinMind and Protopie. These are prototyping apps that have very often roadmap and features releases plus reaching out to the community.
Just "left" Axure in favour of UXPin last summer. They are pretty similar in many aspects, but whereas Axure shines in the prototyping space, UXPin has a lower threshold for those with a more visual than technical background.
The purpose of this post is to encourage the UXPin team to look around what has been offered that are also useful but fundamentally lacking in UXPin.
Thanks, Linus for your honest feedback and outstanding activity!
We - the UXPin team - are all here and notice your and other community members’ feedback. Of course, we collect it and pass it to the Product Team.
I just wanted to mention that building any product is a many-level challenge. Having the resources we have and at the same time considering the roadmap that our users are drawing for our product, we hope to meet all the expectations.
We are adding improvements that could be considered as "natural" continuations of the previous ones. However, sometimes we’re not able to introduce all of the proposed features- that is simply impossible, for now.
Also, recently our team has focused on performance improvements (and we really hope those are noticeable!) as well as Merge, which we really believe, is the key to the future of design & prototyping.
Collecting feedback is more than important and our users are our biggest contributors who shaped the product into what it is today. So, lots of thanks for that! Please continue to leave us your feedback - we are looking into it every time!
You are welcome. QOL improvements are also important.
