UXpin doesn't allow users to save different types of Column Girds. This means for each new project/prototype, you have to set your grid layout metrics all over again. What are you doing to solve for this lack of customizability?
Where am I?
In UXPin you can ask and answer questions and share your experience with others!
I was just drafting this message, LOL!
Hey Jonathan, great question! The only thing I can currently recommend is to have a specific prototype ready with your custom column grids. Then when you're about to work on a new prototype, you Duplicate the prototype and have the custom grid ready to be used.
But I appreciate you leaving the question here. It's been requested before so I will add a +1 to the feature request ;)
I have a "Project Group" titled "Templates" that has the various layouts/grids commonly used in our company. Similar to @Floriaa M 's suggestion above, I just duplicate, rename, and move the template I need.
With that said, it would be helpful to have a custom "Canvas Size."
I am looking to solve a slightly different but related issue...
I want to use the same grid for each page in the same project. Ie every page/screen in the project should use the same grid, it should be set once for the project.
Ie Column Grid = 'same for all pages'.
I cannot think of any use case where you would be building a website that uses a different grid on different pages. If this is not possible now, can someone confirm the ability to set Column Grid to be 'same for all pages' is on the road map?
